Description

After getting married in the Florida Keys, C.S. (Sean) & Kristy Michael spent their wedding night in their newly purchased recreational vehicle — a 25-foot Airstream travel trailer.

Instead of jaunting off to honeymoon on a posh Pacific island, the newlyweds hitched up their trusty Ford diesel truck (nicknamed “SEEMORE”) and started exploring America.

This book is not intended to be an exhaustive exploration of every microscopic detail of our journey. Ground up and placed in a tablet, such a tome might be used to cure insomnia. Instead this book is about highlights, capturing certain standout moments along our trek. It explores how two people, with no recreational vehicle experience whatsoever, found themselves not only purchasing one, but living full-time aboard the thing.

C.S. (Sean) Michael is a traveler, writer, photographer, and filmmaker. He has visited 33 different countries and 49 American states. He attended law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; film school at New York Film Academy. He started one of the world’s first Internet content companies, for which he was named “Small Business Innovator of the Year.” Throughout his life he has pursued unique experiences, working in Yellowstone National Park, directing films at Universal Studios, and touring the former Soviet republic of Transdniestria. Recently he rode camels in the Sahara desert, crossed the North Atlantic on the Queen Mary 2, and hauled his Airstream travel trailer from Alabama to Alaska and back. The author of two bestselling books on RV travel, he documents his experiences through words and video.
