“Next steps” time has arrived, as scheduled.
One year ago this week, we were on our maiden voyage to San Diego with Beauty and The Beast.
We towed the Airstream and Ram 2500 Laramie from lower Mississippi state to Chula Vista, California in a leisurely 10 day journey.
Since then, we have sold, gifted or donated every possession that cannot serve our mission to travel as far and as wide as possible in our truck and trailer until we are unable or unwilling to drive another mile.
My dad, Allen Perry has joined us here at The Chula Vista RV Park and Marina on a “Tying Up Loose Ends” mission.
He traveled here from Mississippi in his “Roll Tide” truck to haul home a few family portraits, audio equipment and my beloved tricycle. Thanks, Daddy. your support for our journey is a precious gift. (Click here for a February 2017 update on those possessions after a fire)
Special thanks this week goes also to Pete’s Precision Automotive for their care and concern for our automobile maintenance over many years. The commute is sweet when you go to Pete’s.
Over these last few months, our friends and followers have shared personal messages with inspiring words, poems and songs ranging in tone from Tennyson to Cash.
