Lekue Silicone Bread Maker
When cold weather arrives we want warm homemade bread from the oven.
The fragrance of bread baking in the Airstream is almost intoxicating. And it’s a joy to make in the LeKue Breadmaker because it’s not messy or time-consuming. These nut-shaped loaves from the LeKue are lovely for tearing or slicing at the table over a bowl of soup or a dinner salad.
The quick no-knead loaf is our favorite.
Want it savory? Add two tablespoons of olive tapenade or some chilled cheddar cubes, or a half-cup of carmelized onions.
For sweet, just toss in a few tablespoons of marmalade or apple slices. Seeded loaves are so appetizing but you can celebrate the holidays by adding color to them. Beet powder makes a beautiful flamingo pink!
