Red Rooibos Tea
If you want to know about iced tea ask a southern boy. Jim chugs down two quarts of non-sweet every day, even when it’s snowing. He used to drink the usual Luzianne or Lipton. He wasn’t too picky about the brand, it was all about chugging down iced tea from his super-size mug and that exhilarating caffeine-high which pushed his already Type-A work habits into the stratosphere and which, eventually, sent him to the emergency room.
Emergency room docs have a magical way of bridging discussions that wives can’t touch, “Stop that or die,” he said. Brilliant. Well, Jim instantly complied (whew!) and three days later when they finally sent him home, he switched to decaffeinated black tea. But, like near-beer, what’s the point, right? Jim needed a beverage that would make him forget his beloved black tea. So he began a search for taste, quality and health benefits.
This naturally caffeine-free Rooibos is chemical-free and loaded with antioxidants. Jim drinks it by the bucket full, on ice, just like before – and, now I don’t have to deal with his caffeine induced work habits. All better now.
