Scale – Step-On Super Miniature

This brave little scale keeps a watchful eye on over-indulgence.

The NewlineNY Step-on Super-mini is perfect for a small trailer. But how can such a light-weight work properly? We don’t know. It just does. Whenever we are in San Diego we test it against our doctor’s scale and the NewlineNY is quite precise.

We love the sleek look of the mini in our mini bathroom. It doesn’t interfere with our bathroom routines at all. It only weighs 20 ounces and has silicone slides, so it glides easily while vacuuming. It is a true marvel of engineering and design for travelers.

However, there is one distinct difference from our old normal-sized bathroom scale. The first reading on the mini will be incorrect every time. So we ignore the first reading. Then, we step on it a few more times until it shows the same reading twice or three times, consecutively – a minor inconvenience for such wizardry.

So, there’s no excuse to gain phantom weight while traveling. Keeping an eye on the pounds is especially important for blood pressure and other kinds of medications. Travel is a health benefit for us. We see our doctors less than we did before we set out. But, it is wise to monitor our health in as many ways as possible. Not allowing weight to creep up on us is important. But, alas, if it does … don’t blame the NewlineNY Mini, blame the beer.
