Surpahs Over-the-Sink Multipurpose Roll-Up Dish Drying Rack
We love the Surpahs Over-the-Sink Rack.
Go ahead, call it a dish rack. But that’s just the its mild-mannered persona … Look! There in the RV kitchen! Is it a dish rack? Is it a trivet? Is it a cooling rack? Yes and yes and yes! It’s Surpahs Rack!
Our Surpahs Rack is our small kitchen superhero. It fits over our 26″ x 15″ double kitchen sink and leaves an opening of about four inches to make an ideal work surface. In its fully extended position it is strong enough to hold a cutting board, so I can prep meats and vegetables – scraping the waste into a bag I keep in the sink below.
For cooling cookies and crackers and loaves from the oven, I place it over the sink and line it with parchment paper. The baked goods cool quickly and efficiently.
On the counter top it becomes a trivet to place hot casseroles and quiches from the oven to cool for safe handling. The Surpahs is also great for drying your dainties overnight. The Surpahs Rack is always ready for action. Mine is always rolled up, standing on end like a little soldier in the corner space behind the stove – so I can quickly grab it and roll it on the counter to allow hot pots and pans to cool a bit before they go into the sink.
This little steel and silicone workhorse is a piece of indispensable equipment for us. So, go ahead and call it a dish rack, but its possibilities are almost limitless … and, you will risk hurting its feelings.
