Full-time RV Travel with Carmen and Jim Beaubeaux
A California wild-fire, a Kansas tornado, a hurricane in The Carolinas … This radio has saved our bacon with the most concise, accurate and immediate updates during weather emergencies through NOAA.
It would be a mistake to travel in an RV without this device. It has also saved our awning in National Parks and in other remote areas where we couldn’t look up high wind alerts on a cell phone.
Equipped with a hand crank and solar device (if you crank it long enough it can partially charge a cell phone) this equipment has many features that we hope to never need.
So far the radio feature for accessing NOAA for weather alerts and road closures has been worth.
