Digital Infrared Thermometer

How hot is it?

Well, let Jim whip out his trusty digital infrared thermometer and he’ll be thrilled to tell you. He’s kind of addicted to this thing.

He checks very important things like the temperature of our truck tires on the road, and the temperature of our food on the grill to make sure it is properly cooked inside, and the heat of the natural thermal pool before we risk entering it.

And he uses it for other jobs too, like how cold is it inside the refrigerator? Is the water from the hot water heater hot enough? Is the pool water a comfortable temperature without having to take off his shoes and dip a toe in.

The uses for this thermometer are endless – however, it does not work on humans or animals for internal body temperature – and thank God for that  or none of us would be safe.
