Effective: It only takes a couple of minutes to pump the two kayak tubes. We also use this device to pump the inflatable floor.

Small: It’s dimensions allow it to fit inside the zip-up kayak tote so there’s no need to haul a separate gear bag for the pump.

Lightweight: At one pound, this simple device doesn’t load you down. Lightweight is key because sometimes it is too difficult, or impossible (due excessive rocks, shells or thick soft sand), to port inflated kayaks to a launch area. The wonder of inflatables is the ease of porting them over rough terrain to reach undeveloped launch sites where they can be inflated and deflated at the water’s edge.

Durable: We’ve had the same pump since we started out five years ago. We’ve kayaked in hundreds of locations in every state and most Canadian provinces and have not needed to replace or repair this pump – and it looks the same as the day we bought it.
