Since July 2016, the Prest-O-Fit Aero-Weave Breathable Outdoor Mat has made our entrance so tidy and attractive – but, it is more than mere glamping accoutrement.
Lightweight only in appearance, the dense high quality mesh will not blow away – not even in high winds. Though it is trimmed with heavy metal grommets in order to tie it down in inclement weather, we have never encountered a circumstance when a stake-down was necessary.
And it doesn’t kill the grass! Many campgrounds do not allow astroturf and outdoor carpets because they kill the ground cover. Not so with Prest-O-Fit! In fact, if it stays in place long enough the grass will grow right up through the mat.
Another great feature is the Prest-O-Fit is the non-slip textile. Even when wet, it is not slick. When we were in a very wet and muddy location throughout a two-week period of heavy rain, we placed our tarp beneath the Prest-O-Fit to prevent the thick mud from oozing up through the weave every time we stepped on it. Great trick! It worked perfectly. The mud stayed put under the slippery tarp and the Prest-O-Fit kept our shoes clean and provided a non-slip mud-free walking surface.
It’s easy to clean, too. Sure it gets dust and leaf stains and when we eat over it, it can develop grease spots. So we simply hose it down and spray stubborn spots with a cleanser, then brush it with a broom, rinse and voila, the Prest-O-Fit looks new again. Takes ten minutes, max.
We’ve had the same Press-O-Fit Aero-Weave Breathable mat since July 2016 (living full-time in our Airstream) and it still looks good enough for company.
