Melamine/Bamboo Serving Bowl (12 inch)

It took us nearly four years to discover melaboo (melamine/bamboo) flatware. This large serving bowl by Q-Squared looks like wheel-thrown matte-glaze earthenware but is half the weight and will not chip or break.

Run your hand over the surface and the texture feels like single-fired unglazed stoneware. Each piece appears unique, having slightly different pinholes and the sort of imperfections one would expect in turned pottery. The subtle tones in biscuit and thin caramel raw glaze trim are a perfect match for our new classic interior Airstream colors. The look is French country and an ideal background for our hearty, rustic cooking style.

This dinnerware is not microwavable, but that is no problem for us. We use paper in the microwave, always have – so no big deal.

We’ve been using Q-squared since February of 2020 and still love it.. The Q-squared looks exactly the same as it did the day we bought it –  no breaking, marring, chipping or discoloration … and no scratching even with our forks and knives.

We don’t know how Q-Squared did it, but we’re thrilled to have this designer dinnerware on our table. Our Full-time Travel Lifestyle philosophy is that every meal should be a special event. There’s nothing better than dining in Beauty, and now we can’t wait for our next dinner party!
