Tent Stakes

We started off using cheap tent stakes with our Clam Shelter and found they either broke on us or where just too small.

These are serious stakes that go up to 12 inches into the ground.

We combine these with our adjustable tie down straps.

If the wind is not expected to be bad, we use one per Clam shelter panel. If we expect strong winds, we use two tie downs and stakes per panel.

Description

  • Stakes Size: The tent stake is 12 inches long and 3/8 inches in diameter which is much bigger and stronger than most stakes on the market.
  • Heavy Duty Material: Made of high quality steel which makes the metal stakes suitable for soft and even hard ground.
  • Easy to Use: The big flat round head design makes it easy to hammer down into the ground, and also you can pull it out easily by the puller.
  • Tips for better use: – Please do not nail the tent stake vertically to the ground. – Make the tent stake and the ground into a 60-degree angle. – Please leave about 1.6 inches (4cm) of the tent stake on the ground to have enough room to tight the rope. – Use the hook to tight the rope. – Use the hole to pull out the tent stake.
  • Multiuse: The heavy duty stakes are great for outdoor camping tent, canopy, tarps and etc for both hard and soft ground.
